Izturis has returned to the Dodgers, but he remains a sub-par fantasy option at ss from all I can see. . . _________________ These are dangerous days

well, that hurts his value even more than not having a position. don't repeat my oversight: don't draft Izturis. _________________ i'm a worm, i can't tell my ass from my head. |

hey, let's take a quick look around the Dodgers infield. apparently, they are planning to play Nomar Garciaparra at first base. that's interesting. well, i guess, since they have Rafael Furcal to play short. but what about Cesar Izturis? i'm guessing Furcal will start at short over Izturis. so, play Izturis at second? nope, there's Jeff Kent over there. third base? well, maybe, but there's Bill Mueller over there. well, okay. Izturis will still probably be seeing a lot of at-bats, but for now it looks like he's lost a good deal of his fantasy value, which wasn't all that hot to begin with. _________________ i'm a worm, i can't tell my ass from my head. |
