Godzilla owners are being treated right now. Coming into last night's game, The Thrilla was polisihing off a .455 week with 3 homers and 10 rbi. As an encore, he hit a three run homer in last night's game. Folks, Matsui is hitting well into the .320's over the past month and now rides an 11 game hit streak. Fo' real. _________________ These are dangerous days

Matsui is hitting .316 so far in June. While his homers are still down, there's nothing to indicate he is a different player than he was last year.
After turning his ankle in Sunday's game, Masui is set to play tonight, as Monday's day off seems to have done some good. _________________ These are dangerous days

Matsui continues to be mired in an extended slump. he started the season pulling the ball with authority, but now continuously pulls pitches weakly to the second baseman. he suffered from this same problem for much of his rookie campaign, before breaking out in 2004. expect him to break out again at some point this season, and not look back. until then, we will be looking at more of his current, ugly numbers. _________________ i'm a worm, i can't tell my ass from my head. |
