when he's healthy, Sweeney has the ability to be a very good fantasy 1B, with above average power, an excellent batting average, and even a few steals to boot. of course, he's never healthy, and you shouldn't pay for him or play him like you're expecting him to be. basically, it's worth thinking of him as a backup option with upside. if he were ever healthy, he would be a top 10 first baseman, though.
